ENPAR Technologies Inc., is pleased to announce that the Company has completed renovations on our new carbon electrode manufacturing facility. The new facility provides ENPAR with the capacity to produce porous carbon electrodes that are an important component of the electrochemical cell that is the essence of the DesEL technology.
These electric double layer capacitor electrodes feature high surface area, excellent electrical conductivity and superior corrosion resistance. Their high strength and flexibility provide dimensional and mechanical stability in a light weight easy to handle material.
ENPAR’s low cost carbon electrodes have applications in electrochemical capacitors, batteries, fuel cells and other energy storage devices. In addition, the electrode fabrication process can produce electrode material from any carbon or other powdered material.
